Local Area Information

The place is just amazing. Being right at the sea, you wake up with the view of the coastline and nearby islands. Look back and be amazed by endless vineyards and olive groves set along little hills and valleys. Beat the noon heat by taking a morning swim in the sea and having fresh fruits and coffee on a terrace. Take a 10-minute walk to the nearest village and have lunch in a cosy fish restaurant. Walk or bike (bikes available for rent) a bit further to a local port, or get there on a boat or sea kayaks. If feeling like going on a longer trip, take a ferry to one of the islands Korcula, Mliet or Lastovo (30-40 minutes) or to the historical towns Dubrovnik and Ston. Scuba-diving? Sure, there is a base nearby.

With many local wineries (Dingac http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dingač), you can enjoy cheap and good wine every day. And then there is food. Should it be seafood in one of the nearby restaurants, octopus, fish or muscles made by the landlord in an outdoor fireplace it is always goingto be delicious.
